Abstract. The paper deals with the application of the finite element method for solving problems of computer modelling of the electromagnetic microwave field of information transmission lines. As it is known, one of the important types of devices of modern technical means of radio engineering and communication are various in functional parameters microwave transmission lines, which have such known advantages as high reliability. Advantages and features of microwave transmission lines, when used in radio engineering, allow to solve a variety of problems, which is not always possible to implement on the basis of other element base. It should be noted that the accurate determination of the parameters of the electromagnetic field of microwave transmission lines significantly improves their goodness of fit, which allows to determine the optimal dimensions and mass, increase reliability, improve a number of electrical and technical characteristics of these devices. According to the calculation using the programme "MATLAB" the parameters of electromagnetic waves, which propagate in the considered microwave transmission line, are determined accurately enough. Knowing the exact distribution of wave modes in the subsequent it is possible to calculate the technical parameters, in particular, the goodness of fit, field strengths by known from the literature relations. |
