Modeling of Free Space in Porous Media by Hydrodynamic Methods
Abstract. The article uses the system of Navier-Stokes equations, regularized by the quasi-hydrodynamic method. A numerical study of the corresponding finite-difference algorithm based on staggered grids has been carried out. The results of numerical simulations of both classical flows and flows in the pore space of sandstone samples are presented.
