Prof. Sedat Akleylek Institute of Computer Science, University of Tartu, Tartu, Estonia In this talk, we briefly survey the importance of post-quantum cryptography by describing current approaches in cyber security. The talk provides details on applied cryptography for cyber security. Then, we discuss the computationally hard problems used in post-quantum cryptographic schemes focusing on lattice-based cryptography. The focus will be given to the NIST Post-Quantum Cryptography Standardization Project in view of cyber security applications, formal analysis/verification, and performance. |
